Player Names

Hole-by-Hole

Wolf auto-rotates. Pick the wolf's partner (or Lone Wolf) and the hole result.

Default Scoring (Standard Wolf Points)

Each hole is zero-sum. At end of round, multiply total points × $/point. Players with positive totals collect from players with negative totals.

Wolf Rotation

This calculator uses the standard sequential rotation:

Result: P1 + P2 are wolf 5 times each, P3 + P4 are wolf 4 times each. To balance perfectly across 18 holes, some groups skip the wolf role on hole 18 (so each player is wolf exactly 4-5 times, depending on rotation). This calculator uses the simple sequential rotation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this calculator handle 5-player Wolf?

Not in the simple form — Wolf with 5 players changes both the rotation and the points (a lone wolf in 5-player faces 4 opponents, not 3). For 5-player wolf with full house-rule support, use Settle Up Golf.

What about Wolf with double points on the back 9?

Easy adjustment: run two passes — set $/point to your normal value for holes 1-9, run the calc, then change $/point to 2× and re-enter holes 10-18 (or just multiply the back-9 total by 2 manually). For automatic doubling and triple-points-on-18 ("crying time") rules, use the app.

Can the wolf pick the same partner twice?

Standard Wolf has no restriction — you can pick the same partner repeatedly. This calculator allows any partner pick on any hole the wolf isn't already playing. House variants sometimes ban repeating partners until everyone has been picked once.
