Finish your round

Score 18 holes and tap Finish. A Post to GHIN button appears on the finished round screen.

You can also post from History → tap a round → Post to GHIN, or from a finished tournament's leaderboard.

Note: You need an active GHIN handicap account (USGA-affiliated through your golf club) to post scores.

Pick Hole-by-Hole or Total Score

Hole-by-Hole gives GHIN your full scorecard — required if you want adjusted gross score or hole-level handicap calculations.

Total Score posts just your front, back, and overall in a single tap. Faster, but less detail for GHIN's calculations.

Most golfers pick Hole-by-Hole. Total Score is offered for the few cases where GHIN's site requires it (e.g., partial rounds where holes are missing).

Step 3 of 5

Sign into GHIN once

Settle Up Golf opens GHIN's site inside an in-app browser. Sign in with your GHIN credentials the first time. The browser remembers you for future posts.

Settle Up Golf doesn't store your GHIN login — the session lives entirely inside the in-app browser, the same way it does in Safari or Chrome.

Type with your card pinned at the top

Your scorecard pins to the top of GHIN's posting page — every hole's par, your gross score, and a colored circle (birdie) or square (bogey) so you can see at a glance whether what you're typing matches what you played.

Tap a hole on the banner to focus GHIN's input for that hole. As you type, the banner highlights the current hole and the focus auto-advances when GHIN moves to the next field.

OUT / IN / TOT summary cells let you cross-check the running total against what GHIN's calculating.

Submit and you're done

Tap Post on GHIN's page. Your handicap updates within minutes per GHIN's normal posting cycle.

Close the in-app browser to return to Settle Up Golf. Your round stays in History whether you posted to GHIN or not.

Post to GHIN without typing your scorecard twice

Posting handicap scores to GHIN has always meant typing every hole into GHIN's website — even though you just spent 4 hours typing them into a scoring app. Settle Up Golf fixes that. After you tap Finish on a round, the Post to GHIN button opens GHIN's posting page in an in-app browser with your scorecard pinned to the top. Tap a hole to focus that input, and the focus auto-advances as GHIN moves through the form.

The banner stays visible as you scroll — even when the keyboard pops up — and it color-codes your scores using golf scorecard convention: green circles for birdies, blue circles for eagles, amber squares for bogeys, red squares for double-bogey or worse. You always know whether what you typed matches what you actually shot.

Two posting modes are supported. Hole-by-Hole gives GHIN your full scorecard — required for adjusted gross or per-hole handicap calculations. Total Score posts just your front, back, and overall totals in a single tap. Both work the same way on iOS and Android. You'll need an active GHIN handicap account, which most US golfers already have through their home club.
